ORDERS / DELIVERY INFO / CANCELLATIONS & RETURNS

1 - Orders
As the only Interflora accredited florist in St Andrews and the North East Fife of Scotland, please visit our floristry site www.gardenroomsflorist.co.uk for all details and confirmation receipt of your florist orders.

As for all other orders on our online shopping, we will email you confirmation receipt of your order. 
We try to ensure that prices quoted are correct and that all products are accurately described on this website, but if we discover an error in the availability, price or description of goods that you have ordered, we will inform you within 24 hours.  You may either reconfirm your order based on the correct availability, price or description, or cancel it.  

2 - Delivery
We are situated in the centre of St Andrews, the Home of Golf in Scotland, by the west end entrance arch of Westport, at 199a South Street, opposite the Westport Bar & Restaurant.

As part of the worldwide Interflora florist relay organization, situated in St Andrews, we cover a local delivery area in North East Fife as detailed below. For all our flower order deliveries, let it be local or National anywhere in the UK, we offer a same day delivery service on any orders placed before 2pm. All International flower orders will be delivered one the following day. Please visit our floristry site www.gardenroomsflorist.co.uk for all details and confirmation of your florist orders. We regret that we are unable to deliver any orders on Sundays.

On all other orders on our online shopping, we deliver to addresses in the UK and specified non-UK addresses. All deliveries are sent by signed-for services.

All orders to the above local delivery areas in North East Fife are delivered free of charge. Orders to UK addresses of £70 or more will be sent free of charge by Economy delivery (up to 7 working days). If you need an item more urgently, you still have the option to upgrade, for a charge, to Preference, Next Day or Saturday Guaranteed. These charges are set out below.

Europe** refers to: Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Sweden 

Worldwide** subject to size and weight we will confirm relevant costs to any destination. Please let us know your postal address and postcode.

Worldwide** General (Usually 5-10 working days) subject to confirmation from our couriers

For orders of delivery to addresses Worldwide** and in Europe** which are especially heavy in weight, we may require the payment by you of a supplementary charge to cover additional post and packing costs. Where this is the case, we will suspend your order and advise you of this supplementary charge within two working days, requesting your consent for us to take your payment of this supplementary charge and fulfil your order. Where we do not receive your consent within two working days we will cancel your order and refund you in full.

Due to airfreight restrictions, orders for delivery to addresses Worldwide** and in Europe** which exceed prevailing size and weight limits will be void.

Orders paid for by credit/debit card from cardholder addresses Worldwide** and in Europe** will be void if not verified under either the "Verified by Visa" or "Secure Code Mastercard" scheme.

For addresses in remote areas please allow up to three additional working days for delivery.

If paying by cheque or postal order please allow up to eight additional working days for us to confirm your payment prior to despatch.

We make every effort to deliver goods in the UK within 14 days (18 days for UK Economy Delivery) and Worldwide** and in Europe** within 21 days of receiving your order, however delays are occasionally inevitable. We accept no liability for any delay or failure to deliver the products within the estimated timescales. This does not affect your statutory rights.

 

CANCELLATIONS & RETURNS

1 - If you want to cancel an order
You can cancel anytime from when you place your order up to 6 days after you receive your goods. Just let us know you are doing this by emailing or writing to us. Please note that once we have dispatched your goods, you become legally responsible for returning the goods to us within 14 days in original condition and at your own expense once you receive them. Please include original packaging. We recommend you post the goods, insuring them against loss or damage in transit, and obtain proof of posting. Once we confirm receipt of your cancelled goods in original condition, we will refund you the price of the goods within 6 days. No refund will be made if the goods are not in original condition.

2 - If you don’t receive your goods within 14 days (18 days for Economy Delivery), or if your goods are damaged in transit
Email or write to us so we can check with our courier. If we are at fault we will refund you the price of the goods plus delivery. If we are not at fault, we will refund you the price of the goods, subject to payment by you of the direct postage cost we incur to recover the goods. No refund will be made if your goods are delayed, lost or damaged due to circumstances beyond our control, e.g. the delivery address you give us being incorrect, severe weather conditions, or acts of vandalism or terrorism. This does not affect your statutory rights.

3 - If you think your goods are faulty or not as described
If you think your goods are faulty or not as described on our online shopping website, post the goods back to us, insuring them against loss or damage in transit. If we agree with you, we will refund you the price of the goods plus the direct postage cost. If we disagree with you, we will offer to return the goods to you, subject to payment by you of the direct postage cost we incur to redeliver the goods. This does not affect your statutory rights.
